Piano lessons in the comfort of your home in Cambridge, Ontario!
In-Studio and Online Lessons also available!

Welcome to my Website
I am Mrs Rodriguez! As a classically trained pianist with 30 years of experience I've taught piano lessons to children and adults of all ages and abilities. I hold a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance from Amadeo Roldan Music Conservatory, in Havana Cuba and a Degree of Music in Piano Pedagogy.
I dedicated almost all my childhood and teenage years to study Piano, Solfege, Music Theory, Harmony and Music History among other subjects. After I turned 19 I was hired to teach students aged 8-20 at the Guillermo Tomas Conservatory and at the National Art Schools in Havana.
After moving to Canada in 2008, I worked at several music studios in Ontario until I decided to open my own private Piano Studio. Being a piano teacher is one of my favorite things in the world I have dedicated all my life to teach the universal language of music to children and adults .
My piano studio is located in Cambridge, Ontario, and I teach piano lessons to students in my studio or in their homes and online piano to students all over Canada.
What I Offer
Enjoyment
I encourage music to be a skill that is added to their other athletic and academic interests to become well rounded children and adults.
Performances
I believe performing builds confident musicians and people. I offer 2 music recitals included in the yearly enrollment fee.
Lifelong Love of Music
I teach students the skills to be independent and passionate musicians to continue what they have learned long after their lessons end.
What Sets My Studio Apart?
If you lead a busy life I will make it easier for you with in-home piano lessons!
No more driving in the snow in the cold winter!
I also offer lessons in my studio and online.
Technology is a valuable tool I use to enhance my student's learning experience. Eg: Apps like Note Rush, FlashNote Derby, Bees Keys among others.
Students study a wide variety of musical genres through the year, from Classical to Pop to Disney tunes, duets, etc
Students are involved in at least one live performance during the academic year which also increase their confidence.
My students look forward to every lesson!

How you'll learn
My lessons immerse students in the language of music through the Faber Piano Method. They become confident musicians who feel a profound sense of ownership and musical understanding. Students learn how to play by ear and by sight, to compose, improvise, sight read, and become truly fluent in the language of music. All my lessons follow an organized approach that utilizes the student's accomplishments to steadily build skills and confidence in the area of music theory, technique, ear training and sight reading. Every lesson is notated for future reference.

I also prepare students for RCM piano and music theory exams upon request. To inquiry about this option please contact me.
